Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and NXTG.AI ("we", "us"), the maker of One Less Thing. By creating an account or using One Less Thing, you agree to them. We've kept them in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, email axw@nxtg.ai and ask.

One Less Thing is a family organization app: shared grocery lists, calendar, tasks, ideas, vision boards, wish lists, recipes, and budgets, with Joy, an AI assistant that helps your family stay coordinated.

You need an account to use One Less Thing, and you're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure. A family space is shared: every member of your family can see and edit the family's content. Only invite people you trust to be part of your family space.

You must be at least 13 years old to hold your own One Less Thing account. Younger children can take part in a family space as child members added and managed by an adult in their family; do not create or invite a standalone account for a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 holds their own account, contact us and we will remove it.

Your family's content is yours. You give us permission to store and process it solely to provide the service (see our Privacy Policy for exactly who processes what). Don't use One Less Thing to store or share anything unlawful, harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights.

One Less Thing offers a free plan and paid plans (Premium and Pro). Paid plans are purchased on the web at familymind.nxtg.ai and billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then. Prices may change, but never mid-billing-period and never without notice.

Joy is an AI assistant. It is genuinely helpful and genuinely fallible: its suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Joy is not a source of medical, legal, financial, or safety advice — always use your own judgment, especially for decisions that matter to your family.

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, no scraping other families' data, no reselling access, and no using the AI features to generate content that is unlawful or harmful. We may suspend accounts that do these things.

We work hard to keep One Less Thing fast and reliable, but it is provided "as is" — we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.

You can stop using One Less Thing and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may close accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you reasonable notice so your family can export what it needs.

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and flag material changes in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA.
